What are Lead Groups and Categories?
In the Communications Suite and Leads section, you have the ability to Categorize your leads to represent the value that lead has to the business. Categorization is split into three groups, Good, Bad, and Other, and each group includes subcategories to help further define the Lead. A lead will initially be assigned as a New Inquiry. Your business should contact these Leads for qualification and categorization as soon as possible.

Good Leads: A good lead is a lead that meets business opportunity criteria. The subcategories to choose from are:
- New Inquiry - Indicates early stages of interacting with the contact. The original state for an inquiry from a new prospect and can be reset to this, prompting action to contact and qualify them again.
- Returning Inquiry - A contact communicating on an existing, active service (or care) that wasn't automatically recognized by the App.
- Consultation - Indicates an appointment has been scheduled or occurred, but additional actions need to take place to win the business.
- Won - Indicates the business has been won and the lead has become a client/customer/patient.
- Lost - Indicates the contact chose an alternative.
- If Lost is selected, you will also be able to select the reason the business was not won from the following (in a drop-down menu):
- Not ready to purchase
- Became unresponsive
- Budget
- Went with a competitor
- Other

Bad Leads: A Bad lead describes a lead that did not have potential as a business opportunity. The subcategories to choose from are:
- Junk/Spam/Solicitor - Unwanted communication not relevant to the business.
- Hang Up/Unknown - Indicates the contact communication was interrupted and not recoverable.
- Don't Provide Services - Indicates an inquiry out of a serviceable area or a request for a service not addressed by the business.
- Not Qualified - Indicates a contact unqualified to make or enter into a business agreement.
Other Leads: Other allows you to identify a lead that doesn't match the criteria for a Good or Bad lead. The subcategories to choose from are:
- Employment - A contact seeking employment.
- Other - Used if there is no well-matching category available.
